Bridging the Gap: Industry-Academia Collaboration

We are excited to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Preston University and Shaoor on Thursday, 29 August 2025, at the Islamabad campus located at Plot: 85, Street 3, Sector H-8/1, Islamabad, Pakistan.

The MoU was formally signed by Ch Waqar Hussain Director ORIC Preston University Islamabad and Mr .Jawad Janjua-Shaoor .In the presence of Dr. Abdul Basit (Chancellor), Prof. Dr.Daud Awan (Vice Chancellor), Dr. Saima Afzal (Registrar), and Prof. Dr. Aurangzaib.

Key Objectives of the MoU:

-Provide internship opportunities for PU students.

-Facilitate industry-driven Final Year Projects (FYPs).

-Bridge the gap between academic learning and industry keeping in view real-world challenges.

-Encourage knowledge sharing, mentorship, innovation and empowering entrepreneurs.

This marks a significant step towards empowering students with practical exposure and fostering a strong culture of applied research and industry collaboration. In shah Allah, this collaboration will play a pivotal role in shaping future professionals and driving meaningful change in both academia and industry.
